To say my life has radically changed would be an understatement. God has totally restored everything and has given me a purpose today. Life still has its challenges, those don’t ever go away, but I know how to face them head on now. Jesus gives me the strength that I need to face the pressures of this world. My name is Nick Lowther and I’m from Ridgeland, S.C. I come from a 20-year addiction to oxycontin, methadone, xanax and cocaine. From the age of fifteen, my life was on a downward spiral. To say I was lost Alcohol would be an understatement. By the time I was 35, I had burned every bridge, destroyed every relationship and managed to hurt every person that I came into contact with. I became a professional at stealing, lying, cheating, conniving and manipulating. Witnessing the loss of family members and friends to addiction along with my own drug abuse brought me to my bottom.

The 2nd Massachusetts Volunteer Cavalry Regiment lost 8 officers and 82 enlisted men killed or mortally wounded and 3 officers and 138 enlisted men to disease during the Civil War. Sober houses, also called recovery homes or sober living homes, provide housing for men and women in recovery from addiction. Sober houses often serve as a bridge between treatment and independent living and offer affordable rents and a supportive environment for those in recovery from substance abuse. A flag that belonged to a Massachusetts cavalry regiment has been found in the basement of the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Captain Stone was mortally wounded in this action. Curtis now ordered the final squadron of the 1st Massachusetts—under Lieutenant Charles Davis—to advance with sabers drawn up the narrow road. As Davis’s lead troopers reached the bend along the Snickerville pike, they found their path obstructed by a mass of dead and wounded men and horses; the barely living still writhing in agony. Before the troopers could slow to a halt they were ambushed—mowed down by a stream of fusillade by eco sober house review Virginians who were lying in wait for them behind the stone walls.
